SINGAPORE: Singapore's Ministry of Defence has declared a three-day time-out (12-14 June) on all physical and endurance training activities in the army, navy and air force.

This follows the deaths of two servicemen within two days.

20-year-old Officer Cadet (OCT) Clifton Lam Jia Hao, a pilot trainee with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), died on Wednesday, one-and-a-half hours after he collapsed while he was undergoing jungle orientation training in Brunei.

A day earlier, 20-year-old army recruit Andrew Cheah Wei Siong died after he fainted while taking part in a two-kilometre walk training activity on Pulau Tekong.

Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean said the time-out will allow the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) to review and re-focus on training activities to ensure that proper procedures are in place before training resumes.

"While the SAF needs to carry out realistic training, this will be done without compromise to safety," added Mr Teo.

The minister also extended his condolences to the families of Mr Cheah and OCT Lam. "I am saddened by the loss of two young and precious sons of Singapore," Mr Teo said in a statement. - CNA/-

omgosh! friday is a really great day! i got up at 630am, headed to school, attended boring lectures! had project discussions and off i go for YOGA! feeling damn excited about it all day long!!

YOGA was great! HOT YOGA to be exact. damn bloody cool! i meant HOT. haha! perspired like mad! and i felt like fainting. grr! know what?! i broke my record, i finished two bottles of 600ML of water in a day!

rushed home after YOGA! and met serene darling! we met in town for Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe!!! i love the dim sum served! and french fries! that's my dinner.... at 1045pm.... haha!

chit chatted for a little while and we decided to head for some drinking session. We hit DoubleO! just the two of us! that is ultimate madness! and im so excited about it! hello. drinking at DoubleO? two woman who apparently look like LITTLE GIRLS! hitting the club?! JUST THE TWO?! crazy or what?!

we headed clarke quay. wanted to get our ass down at some pubs and just drink our night away. but seriously i cant seemed to get interested in any pubs/clubs there!

SO! at DoubleO. i met WH! and his friends! they were there drinking before serene and i got there.. the both of us finished our drinks at Obar and we hit the dance floor! LOL!

seriously.... i need to hit the club again! the fun ain't ENOUGH! we were in the club at 1am? and it closes at 3am? i didn't get my deserved fun!!

the guys decided to head down TCC. and everyone headed home after that! i got home, hogged on the phone and i finally got my deserved sweet sleep at 640am....

AND SO! i've been awake for 24hours! and i am still not tired at 640pm you know!!! but being afraid from having eyes bags and etc... i have to sleep. and the moment i got on bed. i entered my sweet dreamland right away! LOL! i think i have to just stop thinking so my mind could get some rest..

oh yes! and our dearest Yeelin got married off last week! have a blissful marriage girl!

im trying very hard not to blog the negative side about my brother. but sometimes i just can't help it.

he can be really nice like today. he had dinner with me and he gave me the fish meats without bones and he eat the rest.

he passed me the last piece of pork meat and i split half of that little piece and share it with him.

here i am blogging while helping my precious sweetheart's dad with some work in his office!

i am not lazing around. i've finished my work and precious dad is not around now. hmm. i think he went somewhere else. haha!

the gang went clubbing last night! AWWWWWwwwWWWWWWw! i can't join them as i was at my precious home. stayed over! i love staying at my precious house, using his pillow and blanket. i can't find precious sweetheart's chou chou. i think precious mom kept it! and i can't find your bolster too!!!!

and if i were to head club again.. it would be my fourth madness in this month! that is ultimate madness right! Grrr. but i really wanted to go. at the same time fear of fainting again.. what if its not dehydration now and i might faint due to exhaustion???!! haha! it's like i getting up at 730am and have not rested and if i were to club till 6am in the morning.. dancing and drinking.. i think i might just faint due to exhaustion lar!

well. i wonder if some of you realised, missy has started going to school! and i tell you, i've never been so damn punctual!

if my lesson commence at 9am, i would never appear at that time.. well, that is, during my ite days.......

BUT! i've been appearing at 9am sharp ALREADY! haha! not that i have really lovely classmates.. some i felt.. childish! haha!

SATURDAY!

hit the club! supposed to be heading down zouk but its jammed packed there and thus we went down St James. it's like... AGAIN? its like my 3rd time in a month!?!

was there with Serene, Nelson, Cason and Nicholas. had loadsa fun!

we were happily dancing and drinking. i decided to head to the ladies to pee. got out.. waited for serene as she was on the phone. sat down......

and! my stomach hurts madly. headed back to the ladies and diarrhoea-ed. TWICE. WTF? i've never been in a pain greater than that.

and in less than fifteen minutes from my first visit........

I FAINTED IN THE LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh yes. read again i fainted in the ladies!

I couldn't see, i couldn't hear properly, my head is spinning like i don't know what. and i guess i fell.

i could not recollect a shit for like 5 seconds.

i heard a lady asking: are you alright? [i couldn't reply so i just shake my head]

she asked if my friends are outside? [ i nod]

and both held me out from the ladies.

out from the ladies i heard a familiar voice! its my darling serene!

well she was chit chatting with the rest while waiting for me outside the ladies. and she saw two ladies holding someone who apparently looked DEAD DRUNK! but that particular somebody looked very much like JESSIE TAY! she looked at my dress and she went OMG! and she hurried to me. im totally gone at that point and i fell on her...

so they got me up and sat me on the chair.. well everyone was shocked lar. for the fact that i FAINTED. in the CLUB!

i couldn't talk so i wanted to write on serene's hands. but she don't understand any tiny bit of what im writing. so i ignored and rested till im able to open my eyes..

felt better but weak so decided to leave the club for home. but i am very hungry. and weak and everything. so we cabbed to the nearest Macdonald's near my home...

Sat down waited.. and was telling them what happened while I'm in the ladies and how i felt then. felt better. and suddenly!!!!! I'm gone again!

my head rested on serene's shoulder and my head can literally roll to the back. haha! the spinning the everything is getting at me.

and so.. I WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL!

went for checks. blood test, heart test, urine test etc... and was under drip.......

and in about 3 hours later... discharged from observation ward! hahahaa!

it was said that i had alcohol, dehydration from dancing and diahhroea-ing. thus im dehydrated and there's not enough blood in my head. and that causes me to faint. was having low blood pressure then. teehee..

okie whatever it is. I AM FINE ALREADY!

SUNDAY!

met serene, gwen lingg, cindy, jolean, yiwei and js. STEAMBOAT!

we had steamboat at jolean's place. cold storage together too. i had a great meal. ate too much! feel like a fat pig now..

we played games and loser have to finish the left overs. i lost. haha. and we playing bingo and blackjack till 3.30am!

stayed over at cindy's place. lingg rang for Macdonald's breakfast. and i was feeling unwell. finished breakfast and i head bed right away....

got up at 4pm! WOW! i slept really long. haha!

dinner-ed and headed down Central, sat by the Singapore River and chit chatted!

i tried on this very cute pinky dress and was wondering if i should get it. i went back to the shop four hours later and its long gone! !@$%
